Broadband refers to a connection that has capacity to transmit large amount of data at high speed. Presently a connection having download speeds of 256 kbps or more is classified as broadband. Keeping in mind about different usage of its customers, we have devised the following schemes. The same is only recommendatory in nature. You are free to choose your own scheme. All our retail internet plans start with a bandwidth speed of 256 kbps upto 1Mbps which is much faster than conventional dial up connection. You will be given one complaint number. Soon our field technician will get in touch with you We normally provide the internet connection at your premises to one of your computers/router. Rectification of any fault with your computer or other allied instruments will be your responsibility.

We have tried to lay our network in most of the areas .If we are unable to provide the connection for any reason, we will refund your entire deposit amount by way of cheque with in 1 week.

We do provide two way access to internet. Our modem supports Ethernet as well as USB. The modem is the property of Ortel and must be returned to Ortel when you exit from the service. These plans are meant for individual consumers. We have a separate offering for small offices i.e. corporate plan . We normally take 4 clear days to provide the connection to the customers who pay their installation charges by cash. In case of cheque payments the connection will be provided within 4 days of realization of your cheque. The Night Unlimited plan offers you unlimited surfing during night times at a fixed monthly charge as per your chosen plan. At the same time, it offers the flexibility to access the internet during the day at a nominal per minute charge.
The Unlimited Plan offers you unlimited access to the internet. You are not billed for data transfer or for the time you are logged in. This plan is especially useful if you have huge downloads and uploads.
It means that no dialing is required; you are always connected to the internet. .There's no need for an extra phone line. Our internet connection comes right through your cable so your service is always on, giving you instant access to the internet for one low monthly fee. At any point of time we would not like to loose a valuable customer like you. If you want to disconnect because of any problem that you have faced, please contact to our customer care. You can apply for disconnection in proper disconnection format which is available at our office. Alternatively you can apply for the same by e-mail or by post by downloading the disconnection application form. At the time of disconnection you have to refund all materials/instruments provided by us like:

2) USB cord
3) LAN cord
4) CD
5) Power Adaptor
6) Cables
Normally we take 7 clear days to process the refund cheque, if any; from the time we receive all materials back from you. The same can either be collected by you personally from our office or it can be sent to you by courier if you opt for this. You will be able to see your download limits by month. Only current & previous month data will be available. You will be charged extra for further using the internet, It will be charged as per the additional charges applicable to your chosen plan. First of all you need to clear your dues while you apply for temporary discontinuation of service using the form available at the office. You can send the same by e-mail or by post. Ortel broadband connection can be shifted to a new location subject to availability in that area and payment of shifting charges which is Rs.500/- at present.
